This short film, directed by Alex John Beck and edited by Eric Rothman, offered an intimate glimpse into Shelly Malkin’s studio practice ahead of her 2021 exhibition Clouds in My Karma at Graham Shay 1857 in New York.

I produced the project, commissioning video and photography to document Malkin’s process and recent work, and directed the edit to create a quiet, observational portrait of the artist.
